Itinerary
Morning: A Journey into the Wild
7:00 AM: Pick-up from your hotel in the Colombo or Mount Lavinia and surrounding areas. Enjoy a comfortable, scenic drive to the southern coast.
9:30 AM: Arrive in Mirissa. Our guide will prepare you for a private snorkeling session.
10:00 AM – 11:30 AM: Guided snorkeling with turtles. Your guide will take you to a protected spot where you can safely swim and observe these magnificent creatures.
11:45 AM: Visit Coconut Tree Hill for stunning panoramic photos of the coast.
12:30 PM: Enjoy a delicious local lunch at a recommended restaurant in Mirissa.
2:00 PM: Depart for a short, scenic drive to Galle.
2:45 PM – 5:00 PM: Explore Galle Fort. Walk along the historic walls, shop for souvenirs, and discover the unique blend of Dutch, Portuguese, and British architecture.
5:30 PM: Begin the journey back to your hotel in Colombo.

What to Wear & Bring for Your Tour

For Snorkeling & the Beach:
Swimsuit: Wear your swimsuit under your clothes for convenience.
Quick-Drying Clothes: Bring shorts, a t-shirt, or a light sundress to wear before and after snorkeling.
Sun Protection: The sun can be intense. We highly recommend a rash guard for snorkeling, a wide-brimmed hat, sunglasses, and reef-safe sunscreen.
Towel: A small, quick-drying towel is useful for after your swim.
Footwear: Wear flip-flops or sandals that are easy to take on and off.
For Galle Fort & the Temple:
Respectful Attire: Galle Fort is a living city with active religious sites. Please bring a sarong, scarf, or wear a long skirt/trousers to cover your knees and shoulders when visiting any temples.
Comfortable Walking Shoes: The cobblestone streets of the fort are best explored in comfortable sneakers or walking sandals. You will be asked to remove your shoes at some sites, so a pair that is easy to slip on and off is ideal.
